Meet Coach Katie
Katie grew up as a competitive gymnast and learned the importance of discipline and hard work at a young age. In college, she joined the club triathlon team as a way to make friends but quickly realized her passion for the sport. After college, she continued to train and race climbing up the age group ranks and in 2023 she transitioned into racing in the professional category.
Katie received her degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia. She has a 10-year background in strength coaching and believes strength training can be just as important as the swimming, biking, and running components of triathlon.
