Meet Coach Katie
Katie grew up as a competitive gymnast and learned the importance of discipline and hard work at a young age. In college, she joined the club triathlon team as a way to make friends but quickly realized her passion for the sport. After college, she went on to compete at the highest levels of competition with some of the best athletes in the world. She holds several Age Group Titles and always has her eyes on the podium.
Katie received her degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia. She has a 10-year background in strength coaching and believes strength training can be just as important as the swimming, biking, and running components of triathlon.
